A Dream Journal

I'd tried and failed several times to keep diaries of my day to day life but every time I made an entry, I felt I was simply repeating myself as it was all stuff I'd just already done and said. I have a knack for remembering my dreams so it came to me as the perfect hobby to try and remember my dreams and write them down the best I could. Dreams have always interested me and considering we spend much of our lives sleeping, I find it'd be a shame to forget all that time, strolling in our own subconscious.
Here is my dream journal, remembered the best I can, for your enjoyment and consideration.
(Please don't be worried by the relatively old dates in the titles of the posts. The journal is originally on paper and I'm currently typing it all up, posting it progressively from oldest to newest. This blog is still very much alive!)

It's been two months! Have you stopped dreaming or what!?

Ahem, yes. I apologize for the serious lack of commitment and updating that this blog has suffered. I could make any excuse about school work, personal matters, or illness taking me away from this project but that would be lying.
Honestly, it's simply a temporary lack of interest and lethargy that has led me to neglect the site. Someday, hopefully soon, I'll hopefully recommence posting. In the meantime, please enjoy the archive of dreams already posted!

Night of December 5-6, 2009

I remember playing a Game Boy game. It was colorful and of the fantasy-magical genre. It was a side-scrolling game and surprisingly hard as lots of what I was supposed to do didn't make sense. Being a dream, I'm hardly surprised.

Night of December 3-4, 2009

I remember Paula and I were being held at school, diagnosed with being insane. We had to escape and managed to outwit Papa (who seemed unrelated to me) who was guarding us and get on a bus. We were then in a huge city, particularly some poorer ethnic ghettos. We found some people who could help us. The dream then changed a little bit: Paula went out of the picture and I was helping the people I mentioned with some of their organized crime business. I was part of a team who was supposed to kill another crime boss named something like “Jaxx”. When we got to his pad, a huge, lumbering man with giant muscles came out to fight us. We didn't have any guns so we had to take him on with our bare hands. He could only really walk quickly so we were much faster than he was. As he was following me around and I was just running in circles around our car, I woke up.

Night of November 30-December 1, 2009

I remember going around a hospital. I also remember an outdoor-y place like Yosemite.

Night of November 28-29, 2009

I remember driving. It wasn't really a race but I was driving a really nice car through different cities and freeways through the countryside. I think it was in the US because everyone was driving on the right-hand side. At the same time, I think I was testing different safety measures (like ABS, etc.) for a company. After a while, a woman came in the car to write the results of the test. As she was, I drove off a massive hill and flew over a thousand feet over another road. We landed near some trees next to that freeway. We were perfectly ok (Papa and Natasha were then there somehow). As I hitched a ride, I woke up.
Second dream. I remember playing in an arcade with Mama. I was playing a game which was a mix of skidoo, pinball, and pachinko. It was very fun. Putting money in a slot released a pinball and it bounced around into different slots. If it went in a certain slot, it came out a hole near a pinball paddle and you could try to hit it into the slot you wanted. The relative positions of the slots and the paddle made the best shots hard to get. As I used up my money or tokens we went to look for a different game. I saw Rémy G. in the arcade. Just as I remembered that I had forgotten to get my tickets from the previous machine, I woke up.

Night of November 26-27, 2009

I remember waking up and getting ready for school. We were running late. Now I just have to do it all over again.

Night of November 25-26, 2009

I remember basically playing Fallout 3. I was in an underground facility. Part of it was shaped like a giant ring and as I went around in a circle, I woke up.
