I remember being at school and filling out a chart on animal behavior such as dogs are “mildly afraid” of humans and gorillas are only afraid of humans “in parks”.
A Dream Journal
I'd tried and failed several times to keep diaries of my day to day life but every time I made an entry, I felt I was simply repeating myself as it was all stuff I'd just already done and said. I have a knack for remembering my dreams so it came to me as the perfect hobby to try and remember my dreams and write them down the best I could. Dreams have always interested me and considering we spend much of our lives sleeping, I find it'd be a shame to forget all that time, strolling in our own subconscious.
Here is my dream journal, remembered the best I can, for your enjoyment and consideration.
(Please don't be worried by the relatively old dates in the titles of the posts. The journal is originally on paper and I'm currently typing it all up, posting it progressively from oldest to newest. This blog is still very much alive!)

Night of November 4-5, 2009
I remember accidentally bringing a gun to school. I was with Louis R., Marie B., Youssef H., Lucie C., and Mattheiouw (Jim) H. among a few others. We all had suitcases, were waiting in an empty classroom, and might have been going on a trip or had just gotten off the plane. I opened my big suitcase to see a loaded MP5 in a plastic bag. It wasn't mine. I went to show Louis but when I went back to my suitcase, it wasn't there anymore. I gathered everyone around at a table and told them what was going on; then I asked them to help me find it. Marie said it was “food for the 'ghinnies'” (which meant “gossip”) to which Lucie immediately laughed and said, “Oh, I like that.” We all had to be somewhere soon so I was starting to panic. Everybody's stuff from their suitcases was strewn everywhere on the floor and it was hard looking around. Getting scared of what would happen if I got in trouble, I woke up.

I vaguely remember a complicated dream about school. It was quite interesting and I'm upset I can't fully recall it.
Night of November 2-3, 2009
I remember driving at night around San Francisco; racing actually. Up and over the hills really fast. I was just in an ordinary car but once in a while I'd see a really nice car parked. I finally decided to just park and look around for one. I don't remember what kind of car it was. Alessio P. was there with me and we were walking around a residential neighborhood with a few shops. We were chatting about cars as we walked. A small delivery truck was parked in the middle of the road, perpendicular to the flow of traffic. It was late at night so no one was driving but all of a sudden a bus came and plowed right through it, ripping it in half. At all the noise, the delivery man came out and we asked him if he was ok. He casually said that that wasn't the first time that happened. He had another delivery truck (or maybe the first wasn't even his and he was just joking) and on it were flower bouquets all labeled for different addresses. I noticed one for our house and realized it must be for Natasha's birthday (which in the dream, was that night). Alessio was gone and was replaced by a girl I've never seen. The florist gave me a rose to give her. There was a small convenience store nearby and I went in to get change. It was fairly busy inside. A man gave me a TV guide and on the counter I saw a man had paid for something with a three-dollar bill. Papa came in and asked if I wanted him to put the TV guide away. I said sure but I didn't care really. He then asked he should put it on the display case so I turned to him and said, “Look, you're just making this a big deal. It doesn't matter.” This sort of shocked him and he threw it away, deflated. Sorry that I hurt his feelings, I woke up.
Night of November 1-2, 2009
I remember being in a dream in a small city like Monterey. Mama, Papa, Paula S., and I were all at a small apartment and we played boardgames and card games. I also remember “waking up” from a previous dream and writing it down because I've put this notepad next to my bed. Obviously that was just a dream too.
I also remember a second dream being at school. It was Culham but had students and teachers from both Culham and Lycée. For a reason that I can't remember, Mrs Pradas was very mad at me personally. It wasn't a scholastic reason. I really, really didn't want to go to Spanish class and just needed to avoid her. I was with Oli (with whom she was angry a little bit too) and we decided it'd be best to skip Spanish. We hid in some bathrooms near the teachers' photocopy room and could hear the different Spanish teachers looking for us, as some younger kids came in we asked if they'd do us a favor by pretending to be us and distracting the teachers as a diversion. They agreed and left the bathroom making lots of noise. We saw our chance and left around back behind the infirmary and near the Shumann Hall. We then heard our entire Spanish class behind us. It seems that they all decided just to leave in the middle of class because Mrs Pradas was behind them and looking angry. Solene W. and Margaux S. were there and asked, “What's your average in Spanish?” to which I replied, “Eight or eight and a half...” They then said that, “That's good for you because we have and average of nine point seventy-five and our averages're gonna go down because of this.” (I understood that that would mean my grades would be closer to the class average) Mrs Pradas looked furiously at us but Oli and I just smiled and innocently got in line with the others who were all walking to the Sports Hall. (If class had started at that moment, we wouldn't even have considered very late so we were the least in trouble.) As we all arrived at the Sports Hall, another class led by Pauline Legendre (sports teacher from Lycée) was there. There were mostly just having fun throwing basketballs. Mrs Pradas went to talk to Pauline and we all ran in to play with out friends. As I ran up to Youssef H. and Julien F., I woke up.

Night of October 31-November 1, 2009
I remember being in a massive store the size of an airport terminal. In it was a huge Boots. There was a long line, taking up to two or three hours, for a new mascara coming out. Luckily Mama and I arrived a bit early and just missed the crowd. We only had to wait around ten or fifteen minutes. We bought some “Type 2” and “Type 5” mascara for Natasha. The dream changed and I remember being on a train and foreseeing it crash in a vision. I told my family and the other passengers who were on the train too and they believed me. We stopped at the next station and everyone got off. For some reason, a lady said she couldn't get off. Not physically get off but for a different reason. Mama decided to stay on and help her once the train crashed (with both of them on it). The woman was Asian and possibly pregnant. Papa, Natasha, and I stayed on the platform and watched the train go on to its future destruction. It was a very sunny and hot day and we waited anxiously for any word on their condition (especially, and obviously, Mama's). By the time I woke up, we still hadn't heard anything and a long time had passed.
Night of October 30-31, 2009
II remember being in a video game and fighting off a big three-headed monster with a butterfly net. There were also two men, a girl I've never seen, and Tristan D. helping me.
