A Dream Journal

I'd tried and failed several times to keep diaries of my day to day life but every time I made an entry, I felt I was simply repeating myself as it was all stuff I'd just already done and said. I have a knack for remembering my dreams so it came to me as the perfect hobby to try and remember my dreams and write them down the best I could. Dreams have always interested me and considering we spend much of our lives sleeping, I find it'd be a shame to forget all that time, strolling in our own subconscious.
Here is my dream journal, remembered the best I can, for your enjoyment and consideration.
(Please don't be worried by the relatively old dates in the titles of the posts. The journal is originally on paper and I'm currently typing it all up, posting it progressively from oldest to newest. This blog is still very much alive!)

Night of November 15-16, 2009

I remember the dream, at the end at least, had to do with an enormous, but truly epic, ancient Chinese battle. The ships were all flowing extremely fast down the river with a strong current. Huge towers had people on top of them and big monsters throwing spears. The “good guys” looked like soldiers from the movie Red Cliff. The “bad guys” looking exactly like the enemies from the Xbox 360 game Mini Ninjas. The entire invasion was like a movie; I wasn't anywhere. Meanwhile, or slightly after, the dream followed two guys trying to get somewhere. They might have been time-travelers and stuck there. Or stuck “then”. I really only remember the end of the dream but that includes a funny encounter they had with a crazy door guard named Sabastien or Damier or something. While the battle was taking place, our two heros wanted to use it as a distraction to escape from the village (which was being attacked by the “good guys”. This army was led by a young empress, though a narrator, or at least a voice in my head, said that the impressive attack was doomed to fail because a disease had secretly began to spread in her ranks.) Sometime and somewhere in all this, I wake up.
